Join us for a weekly conversation at The Coaching Studio!
On Tuesdays at 12:00pm EST beginning on March 8th, join coaches Angela and Laura for a series of hour-long gatherings on Zoom where we will share creative tools and processes designed for exploring change and transition in our lives.
Whether you are in a period of exploration or growth yourself, or if you hold space for others, this is an opportunity to learn about and play with some of the tools, models, frameworks, and practices we love! Each week you will be invited to learn and reflect in a supportive community space, and you’ll leave with a tool or practice you can apply right away. Bring a snack, a cup of tea, and your favorite notebook.
Upcoming Sessions:
March 8, 2022 @12pmEST - Making Aligned Decisions
As coaches, many people come to us for assistance in making tough life decisions, often about career, relationships or saying yes or no to an ask. When at a crossroads in life, a spectrum of feelings can arise - from paralyzed and afraid to excited and ready. In this session we will talk about how we hold space for big and small decisions and share some simple tools for making aligned choices.
March 15, 2022 @12pmEST - Navigating Conflict
As kids in school we learn important subjects like Math, Science, English, History and Geography. However, life skills for everyday challenges like resolving conflict, are typically left out. Unless we have teachers or caregivers who model this skill well for us, we are often left to our own devices. In this session we will share a few different models to help understand conflict and offer some tools to express ourselves better and ensure the other person feels heard too.
March 22, 2022 @12pmEST - Finding Balance
In this session we will walk you through a tool called the Balance Wheel, inviting you to reflect on the areas of life that are important to you, and check in with yourself about what is in balance, out of balance, and needing attention. It’s also a useful record you can use to track your progress.
March 29, 2022 @12pmEST - Inviting your inner critic for tea
In this session we will spend some time getting curious with the critical voices inside who want us to stay small. With compassion, juicy questions and some free writing, our hope is to create some softness for those harder places inside. Bring a pen, journal and a pot of tea.

Past Session Themes:
The Art of Listening
As coaches, much of our training revolves around building trust and listening deeply for what is underneath the words and body language of our clients. In this session, we will explore different types of listening, and reflect on the impact of being truly seen and heard.
Finding Balance With the Wheel of Life
We will walk you through a commonly used tool that many coaches draw from. Called the Balance Wheel, or the Wheel of Life, this tool invites you to reflect on the areas of your life that are important to you, and check in with yourself about what is in balance, out of balance, and needing attention. It’s also a useful record you can use to track your progress.
Working With Your Intentions
Do you ever find yourself on autopilot, moving from one task to the next, constantly operating from a place of ‘doing” and ‘go, go go’? In this session we will share some daily reflection practices that centre your deeper intentions, your values, and the feelings and states you desire, rather than what you do or produce.
Navigating Conflict: What’s below the surface?
In this session we’ll talk about conflict, and share different tools and models designed to cultivate a deeper understanding of what’s beneath the surface for ourselves and/or others.
